My 10 Essentials of Discovery & Change

 1. BE REAL & HONEST about what you see...AVOID ALL JUDGEMENT!

From the start, I knew it was not going to be pretty. At least not in the perspective of any anticipated perfection. I had to look at myself, forsake all excuses or comparisons, I granted myself complete permission to recognize with open curiosity the being before me within the body of a woman; a spirit that existed before the body was formed. The spirit, soul, mind and purpose embodied in flesh. 

2. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THOUGHTS OF FEAR & EGO!

Not only did I exercise the full observation of the flesh, the external; but, as time lapsed my mind had to recognize its grand responsibility. My inner truth had to face all fear and ego. St. Francis of Assisi (pulling from my Catholic elementary school days) called this, "loving the leper within us". 

3. SEE IMPERFECTIONS AS OPPORTUNITY TO SHIFT 

The reality was whatever I saw, whatever was off balance or measured in some way below the level to fulfill purpose, was no longer at a distance. Seeing the moment to reverence all choices, good and bad...ALL MY choices that brought me to where I was in that exact moment. 

4. CATCH THE GRACE OF THE MOMENT AS THE MESSENGER

The moment was more than what I perceived, it was the message that was unwrapped in the honesty of the experience. In seeking to love, through speaking and releasing love there was something, something massive that had missed the memo! If I love you, if I love all, if I simply love...then why did I not love myself enough to ensure the temple, my body, the flesh standing before me was handled at a level worthy of the soul? Wow...no, Damn!

5. CULTIVATE, PLAN AND REFORM THE NEXT MOMENTS WITH WORK

Yes, work. The bottom-line in this revelation is simple. No, nice words to feed the spirit and tantalize what we already tackled in # 2: Ego. It was are you or aren't you going to do the work?

Whew!!! Sister SoulMates...there you have it. The first 5 of the 10 Essentials I discovered. I will share the last 5 with you soon.

Sister SoulMates...NAKED Inventory

Here we are - Day 1. Everyone is ever so hopeful and our mindsets are deliberate and focused on what this year will unfold. Bravo to us! We are here, we have composed the themes and expectations to make our souls thrive.

We know NOW is the time. Our forward visions have us inebriated in hope of the significance a new start will bring.

As for me, this moment is an epiphany. In retail the new year brings a commonplace event; inventory. It's time to clear out damaged goods, insure all merchandise is current and in condition to sell. In the process of inventory prep you must clear anything that is  nonessential, setting the stage for the essentials alone. Wow! Isn't that what everyone is talking about right now in our personal life's regarding the new year?

So, I decided "my inventory" has to be measured at the level I seek for return. I had to release it all. Yes, I got naked...literally. I had to see me. I had to see the closest, dearest Sister SoulMate I know; ME! Ok, I must confess my heart was pounding, I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. But, if I am going to shift forward in honest growth and dig deeper into the wealth of possibilities that await my arrival, I can't have a beginners mind. Warning: this is not for little girls!

Ok - I am naked, so now what! Now, it gets real. I can only make the changes I seek, the growth I know is calling me, the critical challenges I am determined to conquer, within

the place and space of Tracie...emptied of all the ideas, explanations, lashes and lipstick that have propped me up...until now!!!

What a discovery it was...oh, you are curious of what happened next perhaps?

Ok, just for my Sister SoulMates I will pull back the curtain on my personal examination and share the: 10 Essentials this experience revealed to reframe and redefine my reality and renew me as my first beloved, Sister SoulMate.

Sister SoulMates Prayer ~ 2013

Father, God I thank you! I praise you for every moment of love and joy, peace and pleasure, grace and mercy; the experiences on the mountain top that we readily share with others. More so Lord, I exalt You for the valley experiences; those times where sorrow and pain were so heavy, the struggles so strong, the attacks, the poor choices, the moments we fear anyone we know may discover. Thank you Father for your protection and the purpose you are fulfilling through us. Despite of failures you produce beauty out of the ashes of distress and create epic opportunities for new, renewed life to come forth. Knowing that in my  intention the seed is planted that can bring forth a harvest, I now speak life into this new year, this new opportunity for all who read this expression of love.

I speak love and life into the future of all Sister SoulMates. May we operate in faith and remain focused on purpose. I proclaim and decree we exist and live in ultimate favor in all that we do; in all that we are.

Sister SoulMates are gifted, dynamic, influential and passionate. There is a special  talent and flair that creates a ripple effect that makes the world beautiful because of our mere presence.  In each moment, through each story told and untold there is an intricately prepared, infamous spirit of life; a woman that maximizes love within herself, her family, her world and every Sister SoulMate she encounters.

May every Sister SoulMate be a great leader, director of her own life, a prominent and requested presence to expand love in whatever form and format she so chooses. May we be mentors and help-meets, may every gift we possess have room to expand and
grow and to overflow and multiply through generations we lay our hands and hearts on now, to those yet to be revealed.

I am blessed to have a great wealth of Sister SoulMates...A cornucopia of beauty encompassing every culture and creed.  May the love and connection we share destroy the yokes and bondage of women not getting along. May we birth a dynamic depiction of the essence of beauty, our pure passion, and the phenomena that we are. May it subdue jealousy and strife,  and may we be clear beacons to decree our best life as Sister SoulMates lies ahead in our power and our extraordinary diversity. I touch and agree with every Sister SoulMate to proclaim health in our mind, body, spirit and finances. I pray every obstacle is reserved as an opportunity to proceed further into greatness!

I embrace all that I am, all that we are and all that is yet to be revealed and fulfilled!!!

In Jesus name I pray...Amen.

Welcome to Sister SoulMates

Sister SoulMate - Blog #1

Welcome to the first post of my blog Sister SoulMates. As we embark on a fresh new beginning, that we all share as one, I am excited about what this new year will bring. I embrace this opportunity during the last few hours of 2012 to celebrate the great blessings of my life. I am so thankful to have a beautiful, smart, talented daughter, a sassy and spirited mother and a grandmother full of wisdom, grace and love. I take this and every occasion possible to mentally highlight the legacy of generations of women that birthed the essential elements that make me who I am. For me "love in action" is the answer to every problem in our lives. I applaud the love and light of the "mothers, daughters and sister soul mates" that push us, force us out of our comfort zones and help birth us to new levels on this journey. 

My hope and goal is to live a life of purpose, help each woman I encounter feel that she is on top of the world; laugh, cry, think and yes, love more each day the sisters we call friends and now embrace the reality...these indeed are our soul mates.
